Cathode network station of KСС (KSS) series

Cathode network stations of KСС (KSS) type are designed to convert single-phase alternating current in discrete-adjustable rectifying current that provides cathodic protection of underground metal facilities against corrosion. Adjusting the required capacity of the protected facility is carried out manually by switching power transformer taps. Cathode stations are made according to customers’ technical requirements to replace aging and discontinued KCC (KSS) stations having been in operation for more than 40-50 years and can not be repaired.

Operating conditions:

• environment temperature is from -40°C to +50°C;;
• relative humidity is up to 100% at a temperature +25°C ;
• operating position is vertical;
• mechanical external influencing factors are Group M1 according to GOST 17516.1-90;
• height above sea level is not more than 1000m.

It may be possible to complete stations with an external block of output current ripple filter (additional equipment option).
